Topping the chart is Kyrie Irving's record-breaking performance against the San Antonio Spurs which saw his team, Cleveland Cavaliers, edging the defending champing after a 128-125 overtime victory. Irving scored 57 points with 62.5 field-goal percentage, according to Bleacher Report
Playing the center position for the Los Angeles Clippers, DeAndre Jordan tops the league in field-goal percentage averaging 71 percent with 15.0 rebounds per game. Jordan is the second player in the league's history to achieve at least 70 percent field-goal average with at least 15 rebounds per game during the regular season. NBA legend and hall of famer Wilt Chamberlain first achieved this feat while playing for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 1972-1973 season.
According to ESPN, Chris Paul led the league in assist for two consecutive season with an average of 10.2 assist-per-game. Paul has led the league in terms of assist for four times in his career. The only players to record such achievement were Oscar Robertson, John Stockton, Steve Nash and Jason Kidd.
Additionally, Paul is the only player since 1985 to record a single game stat of 41 points, 17 assists and four steals. He completed this feat with only one recorded turnover.
MVP candidate Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warrior lead the NBA in 3-point shooting for the third consecutive season, this makes him the first NBA player to reach such achievement. He recorded a 44.2 percent success rate when shooting in the three-point area and averaged 8.1 three-point attempts per game.
His 276 made three-point in a single regular season is also an NBA record.
