A Canadian father believes that his daughter's photo taken in Japan was photobombed by a samurai ghost because mysterious boots appeared behind the little girl in the photo.
The child posed in front of the camera while at a beach located in Zushi, Kanagawa. The beach is said to be near the site of samurai tombs hidden in a mountain close to the said area.
The father took five photos of his child using a Samsung Galaxy smartphone and when he reviewed the photos, he reportedly saw the mysterious black boots behind the legs of his daughter, Mirror reported. The father was very rattled with what he captured and showed it to a friend of his.
Among the five photos taken by the father, there was only one photo in which the boots and the legs appeared. His friend then uploaded the image on Reddit and asked the online community about the possible explanation regarding the mysterious boots.
Non-believers of ghosts said in the comments section that there was a visible strip of denim or blue clothing behind the girl but the father claims that there was no one behind his child when he took the photos.
The photo was posted eight months ago but went viral only this week, Inquisitr reported. The girl's face was blurred for privacy purposes. Although the father said that there was no one else around when they were in the area, a man wearing a white top was seen crouching down near the water.
Another member of Reddit shared that a man might have stood behind the girl and because she was closer to the camera, she looked larger. Therefore, the photo looked like there was no one standing behind the girl due to the depth and perspective of how the snap was taken.
One more commenter said that the boots was not worn by samurais but was actually worn by the United States Navy during World War II.
This is not the first time that photos in the area were uploaded claiming that there are ghosts but until now, there is still no explanation regarding the statements.
