Paul Walker's brother, Cody Walker, will probably continue his engagement with "Fast and Furious" franchise. The late actor's brother recently expressed his desire to pursue acting as a career.
With "Furious 7" touching the $1 billion mark, movie enthusiasts are already talking about "Furious 8." While it is yet not announced officially, it has been reported by multiple sources that the sequel is sure to follow.
A recent report claims that Cody, who contributed in the filming of "Furious 7" after the actor's accidental death, has expressed his desire to pursue an acting career. Cody is reportedly open to any kind of roles and would like to try his hand in different genres including action thriller.
Realty Today claims that since Cody has openly declared his acting plans, there are very high chances that he will also be the part of the next Furious movie. On the other hand, Cody reportedly also has high hopes in bagging a role in the next sequel of Fast and Furious franchise.
Even if Cody comes on board, it is a remote possibility that he will reprise the role of Brian O'Connor. Inside reports state that instead of playing Connor, Cody might be introduced as his younger brother or cousin who have joined the group after the elder's retirement.
"It would be a tribute to Paul that Cody carries on the Walker name in the Fast and The Furious movies," declared an insider earlier, hinting at the possibility of Cody's future engagement with the Furious movies.
"Furious 8" will be set in New York. "Furious 7"'s new character Mr. Nobody, played by Kurt Russell, will continue in the sequel as well. Not only "Furious 8," the work is in progress on three further sequels to "Furious 7."
Guardian reported that apart from its third venture, each Furious move has done better than the prequel. While "Furious 7" is already the seventh biggest flick of all times, "Furious 8" is expected to break further records.
