A new "Clash of Clans" trick allows player to acquire unlimited gems without paying for it. The trick however is only available on the iOS platform and players must set the game in Offline Mode.
In order to play "Clash of Clans" in offline mode, the iOS device must be jailbroken. If the device is already jailbroken, the player need to open Cydia and add the apt.iphonecake.com source. Once added, install the GamePlayer app into the iOS device.
GamePlayer is an iOS app that allow users to tweak game value and settings. When used on "Clash of Clans," this allows players to completely change the value of any resources including gems.
Once GamePlayer is installed, open Control Center and set the iOS device on Air Plane mode. Setting the device on Air Plane mode will disable mobile data as well as Wi-Fi capabilities thus setting the device in Offline Mode.
On the GamePlayer, look for "Clash of Clans" by using the search menu. Once done, search for the exact amount of gems on "Clash of Clans" and select DWORDS. After that, go back to "Clash of Clans" and spend some of the gems.
After spending some gems, reopen the GamePlayer app and check if the number of gem have changed. If it does, change the first three results into the desired amount of gems and select Modify and Lock.
Since this tweak is only available when the device is in Offline Mode, the in-game value of any resources will go back to its original amount once the game is updated back to normal, according to CultureMob.
