While the Warner Bros. next DC Comics film's shooting is still in progress, director David Ayer cannot contain his excitement and assembled the team of super villains featuring in "Suicide Squad" to take the first photograph.
The cool pic was uploaded on Twitter along with the caption, "Task Force X assembled and ready. #SuicideSquad."
The poster features all the main characters of the upcoming movie in their complete costume. Starting from left to right, it has Slipknot, played by Adam Beach and Captain Boomerang to be played by Jai Courtney. Next comes supermodel-turned-actress Cara Delevingne playing the role of Enchantress who is flanked by characters Katana and Rick Flagg to be played by Karen Fukuhara and Joel Kinnaman respectively, People reported.
Margot Robbie of "Wolf Of Wall Street" fame comes next flaunting her devil laugh and blue locks as Harley Quinn followed by Deadshot to be played by the popular actor Will Smith with his goatee, bald head and impressive gun. Killer Croc and El Diablo to be played by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Jay Hernandez respectively complete the cast of the upcoming flick.
The Joker, to be played by Jared Leto, is missing from the picture as the 43-year-old actor-singer is currently with his band, 30 Seconds To Mars, in Poland and could not join his co-stars for the photo shoot, Daily Mail reported. His look was revealed last month on Twitter showing his green hair and black teeth, giving a new dimension to fear.
"Suicide Squad" is based on the DC Comics in which infamous villians come together and are forced to take on the role of heroes. The movie is set to hit the screens on Aug. 5, 2016 while the shooting kick started in Toronto last month.
Last month, Ayer had shared another pic of the whole cast members but this is the first photo that shows them all in their supervillian costumes.
