Users are experiencing many issues with the Samsung Galaxy S6 pertaining to the mobile phone's battery life, camera and RAM, according to Tech Times. Other problems involve notifications, signal, booting and Bluetooth.
Samsung Galaxy 6 users are battling problems with the messaging system. A user on the AT&T forum said that he bought a Galaxy S6 smartphone on April 11th and on April 17th he noticed that text messages that he got would be viewable for a very short time and then delete themselves. Multiple updates happened in the first week. He further said that the problem is occurring at irregular intervals.
Furthermore, the XDA forum is filled with enraged users expressing concern over the Galaxy S6 killing apps when in use. Just 200MB to 400MB RAM is left in the mobile phone as apps get killed midway.
In addition, the camera of Galaxy S6 is causing concern. The flash stays lit even when a user is not using the mobile phone. In some cases, the camera flash stays on even when the mobile phone is turned off. Also, some owners are experiencing problems with the camera's focus. Some users are experiencing difficulty getting the Galaxy S6 camera to focus steadily.
The battery of Samsung Galaxy S6 is non-removable. Hence, a factory reset is the only solution available to eliminate the flash problem. Simply, navigate to Settings > Backup and reset > Factory data reset > Reset device.
To fix the Bluetooth problem, turn the Bluetooth on and off. Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth. If the toggling does not work, head to Bluetooth > Connections > Forget the problem device / devices and Reconnect.
To fix the battery issue, use the Battery Saver mode found in Settings on your phone. The Battery Saver mode monitors the brightness of the screen, regulates the CPU power and turns off the vibration alerts and soft key lights .
To improve the sluggish performance, turn off the Galaxy S6 smartphone. Press and hold the Volume, Home and Power buttons together until the mobile device vibrates. Release the buttons when the logo of Samsung shows up. Press the Volume Down button and navigate to Wipe Cache Partition. Press the Power button to begin wiping the cache partition. Wait for the process to complete. Reboot your smartphone once the cache is cleared.
If the signal strength is poor, head to Settings > Mobile networks > Network mode and switch to CDMA/LTE, if you are on Verizon or Sprint. Global might work better for people who are with a different carrier, Digital Trends reported.
