Despite the much publicized break-up, it seems that mega star Justin Bieber is still smitten by "Come & Get It" singer Selena Gomez's beauty. Recent reports stated that the "Baby" hit maker was not able to contain his excitement when he set his eye on the dolled-up beauty at the 2015 Met Gala on Monday.
"Hey, Selena looked gorgeous at the Met Ball!" shouted Bieber to the onlookers and paparazzi while leaving the after party in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. The video obtained by TMZ shows that while he was hounded by fans to catch his glimpse, Bieber chose the moment to cup his mouth before yelling out for the 22-year-old ex-girlfriend.
The unprompted and impromptu response from Bieber led to the speculations that the singer desperately wants to get back to the former Disney star.
The former couple pair arrived only 20 minutes apart on Monday night among the star-studded guests. Gomez, who has apparently broken up with DJ Zedd, turned heads at the annual fashion bash in a custom ivory silk crepe Vera Wang collection gown with a plunging back and black tassel detailing, complimented with an ornate white flowered headpiece. Later, for the after party, the stunner slipped into tiny black playsuit paired with a jacket.
Us Weekly reported that after the Met Gala event, Gomez headed to Rihanna's after party at Up & Down where Bieber was already present, hanging out with the rapper Tyga. The hottie reportedly tried hard to strike a conversation with the star of "Monte Carlo" but could not sustain for long, making their encounter pretty short and awkward. Apart from that, Bieber spent most of the night dancing and having a great time with his friends, Kendall Jenner and Hailey Badwin.
