Along with dramas "State Of Affairs" and "Constantine," NBC has cancelled three comedies "Marry Me," "About A Boy" and "One Big Happy" and Ken Marino's co-star Casey Wilson is not happy about it.
Created by ABC's "Happy Endings" creator David Caspe, "Marry Me" starred Wilson and Marino along with John Gemberling, Sarah Wright, Tymberlee Hill, Dan Bucatinsky, Jessica St. Clair, JoBeth Williams, Dan Bucatinsky and Tim Meadows, among others.
In April, Caspe also told Entertainment Weekly that he feels bad for anyone "who got their hopes up" after the cancellation of "Happy Endings."
Before the premiere of "Marry Me" on Oct. 14, 2014, Caspe and Wilson were and are currently expecting their first child. After NBC announced the cancellation of the show, Wilson took to Twitter to express her disappointment.
"Thank you to everyone who watched #MarryMe and so much love to the cast, crew and writers Here's how I'm feeling!!" Wilson tweeted along with a photo of herself with an unhappy face.
In 2014, Marino compared "Marry Me" with "Children's Hospital" in an interview with Boston Herald saying, "With 'Marry Me,' we're trying to both have jokes and also have some heart. Whereas with 'Childrens Hospital,' it's simply jokes. The characters are pretty despicable. They're just awful people."
Meanwhile, "About A Boy" season 2 episode 14 aired on Feb. 17 and the show still has six unaired episodes while "One Big Happy," which is produced by Ellen DeGeneres, only has six episodes aired prior to cancellation.
