Spoiler alert: This update contains "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 6 spoilers. Read on at your own risk.
"Callen and Sam search for Arkady when crew members from the missing oil tanker used in his deal with Russia are found dead in the ocean. Their investigation also uncovers Arkady's personal connection to the ship," reads the new episode synopsis for "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 6 Episode 23.
The avid viewers of the procedural know that Arkady is Callen's only hope in finding information about his origins. Spoiler reports about the season finale has something on Callen's father. This could mean that the pre-finale and season ender episodes are both Callen-centric.
Vyto Ruginis is not listed as a guest star in the CBS press releases for "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 6 Episodes 23 and 24. Still, the title of Episode 23 is quite telling: "Kolcheck, A."
In "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 6 Episode 21 ("Beacon"), Arkady fakes his own death to find out who paid a hitman to go after him. It is later revealed he made arrangements for an illegal transfer of Russian oil via a massive vessel. When the hitman was found, Arkady has vanished.
The partnership of Callen and Sam will be taken through to the "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 6 finale. Interesting, this year's season ender is called, "Chernoff, K."
