"Scandal" Season 4 comes to a close with Episode 22 titled "You Can't Take My Command" on Thursday, May 14, 2015. The upcoming finale segment will focus on B613 storyline and outcome of Mellie's elections. Olivia Pope and others work together to take down Rowan Pope and B613 command. In Episode 21, fans learned a shocking secret. It was revealed that Mellie is Foxtail and her campaign is being supported by Olivia Pope's father and biggest enemy Rowan Pope. Fans will find out how Mellie and Rowan Pope's association will affect Olivia's goal in Episode 22 "You Can't Take My Command."
ABC has released synopsis for "Scandal" Season 4 Finale on its official website. According to the press release, the ongoing storylines will reach a critical stage before the show closes. Fans can expect to find the answers to some of the burning questions related to B613 and Mellie's involvement in Foxtail project.
Synopsis suggests that Olivia and her teammates will be forced to make some daring moves to bring down the Command. At the same time, Mellie's future will be revealed. Did she make it to the Senate's house or not will be disclosed in the final episode of "Scandal" Season 4 as the elections results are declared.
A promo video (via YouTube.com/ Netpromos) for "Scandal" Season 4 Finale teases highly dramatic and extremely intense segment. It shows Olivia is determined to tear down Command "no matter what happens, no matter who gets hurt." Towards the end of the clip, Olivia is seen behind the bars.
Meanwhile, leading woman Kerry Washington, who plays the role of Olivia Pope, teases an "explosive" finale. "There's a lot of things that could explode," Kerry Washington told Jimmy Fallon on Tonight's show. Fans can expect an unexpected ending as well.
The actress even hinted at shocking conclusion to "Scandal" Season 4. "When we finished the table read for this finale, I was so shocked, I looked at Shonda and said, 'Where do we go from here? How do we even have a fifth season after this?" Washington added.
