The final episode of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 11 is packed with drama, emotions and action. Things are going to get intense as new crisis, described as "unfathomable," strikes, according to official synopsis for Episode 24 "You're My Home" on the network's official website. While trying to tackle the new situation, doctors at Grey Sloane Memorial hospital are reminded of what is more important in life and come together.

A promo video (via YouTube.com/Official TV Promos) for "Grey's Anatomy" Season 11 finale promises unpredictable events. At the same time, a breakup of fan-favourite couple is on the horizon. According to the Huffington Post, fans can expect to see April and Jackson split as the season comes to an end.

"I need to say something, and I don't know how to say it," April tells Jackson in a promo video (vioa YouTube.com/Bluesky6134). "I don't even want to say it." But it seems Jackson reads her mind and understands that she wants to go back to the Army camp and continue her practice there. He agrees to let her go back. But when April kisses him he breaks it off and tells her, "April, I love you. So much. But I don't think I can be here when you come back."

Elsewhere, Owen and Amelia will share a warm moment. Another promo video (viaYouTube.com/Television Promos) for the finale gives a glimpse of their interaction after Amelia breaks the news that Meredith is selling the house.

Meanwhile, fans must note that "Grey's Anatomy" will return with Season 12 later this year. Details about the plot remain unknown. But the show has a new executive producer. Debbie Allen, the actress who plays the role of Jackson's mother and surgeon Catherine Avery, will serve as the newest executive producer/ director on the show, according to Deadline.

This is not the first time Allen will get behind the camera. The actress has helmed three episodes for the sixth season and more episodes for the current season of "Grey's Anatomy." She also directed two episodes for another Shonda Rhimes creation "How to Get Away with Murder." The website notes that the Allen will continue to play the recurring character Catherine Avery in Season 12.

According to Design and Trend, rumours claim that Season 12 will address the issue of Derek's lawsuit. Also, it is speculated Amelia and Owen will reconcile in the next instalment. However, these are mere speculations and associated people are yet make official confirmation.

"Now, Meredith and the entire Grey's Anatomy family are about to enter uncharted territory as we head into this new chapter of her life. The possibilities for what may come are endless," Shonda Rhimes told Entertainment Weekly while referring to the future of the characters on the show.
