A new teaser photo has been released by film helmer Bryan Singer to boost fans' excitement for his upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse." Also, Michael Fassbender confirms that he will stay in future "X-Men" films.
The photo was posted by the filmmaker on his Instagram account and it shows uniformed men and a girl in the woods. Singer's caption on the photo was "The past catches up. #Xmen #XMenApocalypse" and the post got more than 7,000 likes and more than a hundred comments.
The weather looks fair in the picture and it can be noticed that the men were armed of bow and arrows, instead of guns. All people in the photo is facing to the same direction, however, it was not shown whom they are facing.
The picture may be puzzling at a first glance, but one may speculate that the people in the picture are facing Magneto or Apocalypse, as per Cinema Blend.
Magneto is the first mutant that comes to mind behind the weapons used in the photo as the mutant can control metals, rendering guns and other metal based firearms useless.
The titular supervillain himself Apocalypse has also existed on Earth for a very long time in the comics, which makes him a possible speculation to Singer's photo. He might have destroyed the men's guns, forcing them to use bows and arrows as weapons.
Between Magneto and Apocalypse, the former is more likely to be related to the photo as he taught government defense officials not to use metal weapons in the previous "X-Men" films.
Many "X-Men: First Class" actors' contracts will be finished soon, but Michael Fassbender hints that he will shoot "a hundred of them," as per Variety. Does this mean fans are going to see young metal manipulator in future "X-Men" films?
"X-Men: Apocalypse" serves as the conclusive film of the "X-Men: First Class" trilogy and it stars Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, and Lucas Till.
New comers include Alexandra Shipp, Olivi Munn, Kodi Smit-Mcphee, Lana Condor, Sophie Turner, and Tye Sheridan.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated to premiere in theaters on May 27, 2016.
