"The Voice" Season 8 (2015) has reached its final phase of the competition. The show will kick off its finale week on Monday, May 18, 2015 wherein the top 4-Joshua Davis, Koryn Hawthorne, Meghan Linsey and Sawyer Fredericks-will perform live for the final votes from the audience. It will be followed by the results episode on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. On this episode, the winner of the most coveted trophy, title and the prize will be declared. Meanwhile, the four judges-Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams-will continue to mentor their team members. "The Voice" Season 8 (2015) will feature a star-studded finale. The show will showcase gigs by several celebrity guests. At the same time, the four judges are also expected to take the stage to perform.
On Monday, Sawyer Fredericks (Team Pharrell), Meghan Linsey (Team Blake), Joshua Davis (Team Adam) and Koryn Hawthorne (Team Pharrell) will perform three songs each. They will sing a reprising song based on fans' choice, a solo song and a duet with their respective coach. Fans will be able to vote for their favourite contestants via phone, social media and "The Voice" app. However, iTunes Bonus multiplier will not be applied this week. But iTunes votes earned in the previous weeks will be cumulatively added to the votes garnered in the finale week for each contestant.
On Tuesday, "The Voice" Season 8 (2015) will air its final results and crown the winner. But before that happens, the show will feature several celebrity and group performances. According to the press release (via Mjsbigblog), music sensation Kelly Clarkson will perform her latest single "Invincible" and Maroon 5 will premiere its new number "This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like a Motherf****r." Luke Bryan will sing his single "Kick the Dust Up." Meghan Trainor will perform live her latest hit "Dear Future Husband." Grammy nominated Ed Sheeran will take the stage alongside finalist Sawyer Fredericks to sing "Photograph."
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly notes that singer and songwriter Sheryl Crow will also make an appearance. It is said she'll join Meghan Linsey for a duet. Fans can also expect a collective performance by Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Pharrell Williams and Blake Shelton. "The Voice" top 20 contestants and other group performances will also take place.
