While model and film actress Eva Mendes has been tight-lipped about her relationship with "The Notebook" star Ryan Gosling, reports surfaced that she dropped a clue to upcoming nuptials with her partner.
Mendes who recently teamed up with Walgreens and Maesa to launch a new cosmetic line called Circa during an interview with A.J. Calloway of Extra revealed details about her relationship with the Hollywood actor.
Mendes and Gosling began dating in 2011. Since then the duo have managed to keep their relationship under wraps and even the birth of their daughter last year, according to Venture Capital Post, took place unnoticed by paparazzi.
Professional quality cosmetics at a price point accessible to the public at Walgreens is what the actress is reported to have hoped for in her endeavour with the Circa brand.
Mendes operates as the creative director behind the brand which is being promoted to appeal to consumers of multicultures.
Meanwhile, media frenzy about the couple's impending nuptials began when during the Extra interview Mendes revealed her secret to retaining Goslings interest.
The model was quoted as jokingly saying the number one cause for divorce in the United States was "sweat pants."
Gosling defended Mendes over the comments saying it was merely a joke.
While her comments led to much speculation of divulging relationship secrets, sources close to the couple had revealed to ENSTARS that if the couple were married already they would not reveal details any time soon.
Recently, reports emerged again according to the entertainment news site that Mendes was planning a wedding and the couple would make an official announcement in the Summer.
Sources quoted by the website claimed that the couple did not want a long engagement.
