The official version of iOS 8.4 release is reportedly slated on June 8 at Apple's annual Worldwide Developers' Conference.
The tech giant already seeded the iOS 8.4 beta 3 to developers and participating beta testers to sweep the said version of Apple operating system off bugs and issues that may affect the overall performance of the OS.
iOS 8.4 comes with Apple's new Beats Music streaming service and the third beta version sports has a Mini player and revamped iTunes Radio.
Meanwhile, Russia could be first country to receive the new iOS 8.4. Apple is reportedly partnering with major record labels in the said country, according to Apple Insider citing Russian publication Vedomosti. Apple started operating the iTunes Store in Russia, but will need to expand licenses to cover on-demand streaming in the country.
It is still unknown as to when the service will be launched and what it will be called, but rumors claimed that it will be named "Apple Music" and will include features like artists-only social network. All of these are expected to be announced on June 8.
Other reports claimed that WWDC will showcase the new iOS 9. According to The Fuse Joplin, iOS 9 is codenamed as Monarch and its public beta is scheduled to be available in the summer before its official roll out to iPhone and iPad users in the fall.
There is a great possibility that the new generation of iOS will follow the footsteps of the the public beta program of last year's OS X Yosemite through the AppleSeed program, according to some "multiple people briefed on the plans". According to reports, the iOS public beta will be available to 100,000 people.
Public beta users will be able to report bugs and issues they encounter while using the iOS 9. This will help the company in improving the operating system. However, nothing is set in stone yet as Apple has not disclosed its plans yet.
