The highly anticipated LG G4 will finally hit the United States market after Sprint announced that it will officially release the smartphone on June 5. Pricing for LG's latest flagship smartphone starts at $199.99 with a two-year contract.
According to International Business Times, Sprint will be offering the LG G4 for $599.99 for people who do not want to sign two-year contract with the company. Additionally, Sprint will be offering the smartphone through its two-tiered leasing program; $18 per month for 24 months and $28 per month for 12 months.
According to GottaBeMobile, Sprint will be throwing in a 32 gigabyte microSD card and an extra 3,000 mAh battery for those who will purchase the smartphone with the company.
On the other hand, T-Mobile and Verizon will also release the LG G4 on June 2 and June 4, respectively. AT&T has already confirmed that the company will also release the LG G4 on its network but the company has yet to release an official time frame.
LG officially released the G4 in the global market on May 19. The smartphone has 5.5-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. LG added the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added screen protection.
The LG G4 run on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 dual-core Cortex A57 1.82 GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 1.44 GHz processor with its graphics handled by the Adreno 418 GPU. It has 3 gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of internal storage than can be expanded up to 128 gigabyte through the microSD card slot.
The smartphone's 16 megapixel rear camera can take photos of up to 5312 x 2988 megapixel. The rear camera can take videos at 2160p and 1080p resolution with 30 frames-per-second and 60 frames-per-second refresh rate, respectively. The 8 megapixel front camera can record videos at 1080p resolution with 30-frames-per-second refresh rate.
