In "Orphan Black" season 3 episode 6 titled "Certain Agony Of The Battlefield," which was aired on May 23, Saturday, Paul Dierden (Dylan Bruce) was coerced to make a dangerous play after learning the truth about the plans of Dr. Virginia Coady (Kyra Harper) for the Castor clones.
One of the most memorable scenes in "Orphan Black" season 3 episode 6 is when Donnie Hendrix (Kristian Bruun) and Alison Hendrix (Maslany) twerk in their underwear. Aside from his jealousy and foolish Subaru purchase, Donnie also showed how much he wanted to win back Alison's affection.
For one final time, Paul was reunited with Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany) before he exited in one of the most explosive "Orphan Black" scenes so far. Since he has been downgraded to B stories or silently protecting Sarah from the sidelines, Paul's death was expected.
On the other hand, Paul refused to allow Dr. Coady and the Castor clones too gon with their research. This let him die a deserved heroic death, which is expected to have long-term consequences for "Orphan Black" going forward.
What is not clear, however, is whether or not Dr. Coady and Rudy (Ari Millen) died from the explosion although their research is surely gone.
Meanwhile, the rest of "Orphan Black" season 3 episode 6 was filled with dream sequences and the attempts of other supporting characters to come to the rescue, particularly where Sarah's friends and family were involved.
One of the most memorable quotes of the episode was the one said by Beth Childs (Maslany) to Sarah when she was clueing her in. Beth said, "We do terrible things for the people we love. Stop asking why, start asking who, Sister."
