NBA star Stephen Curry, 27, of the Golden State Warriors has broken the record of Reggie Miller, 49, who previously had the most three-pointers in the playoffs.
In the 2000 playoffs, it took Miller 22 games to hit 58 three pointers. The retired basketball star, who used to play for the Indiana Pacers, is currently one of the commentators of "NBA On TNT" along with Shaquille O'Neal, Kevin Harlan, Kenny Smith, Charles, Barkley and Marv Albert, among others.
On May 23, Saturday, in the Western Conference Finals, it only took Curry 13 games to set the record of having the most three-pointers in the playoffs with 59 three-pointers as the Golden State Warriors still have to finish off the Houston Rockets, NBC Sports reported.
Even Brooklyn Nets point guard Jarrett Jack has nothing but praises for Curry. He told The Brooklyn Game, "I always would just stay in his ear 'cause Steph is a quiet kid, not a boisterous kid by nature, but just telling him to understand that it's paramount that your voice is heard."
Having taken 11.2 threes a game these playoffs, Curry hit 42.5 percent of them. The two-time NBA All-Star Golden State Warriors point guard is the 2015 NBA Most Valuable Player. He is married to Ayesha Alexander. They have one daughter named Riley, 2.
Recently, their daughter stole the attention from his father with her recurrent laughter, dramatic yawns and awkward demands throughout a recent post-game press conference, according to People.
The record-breaking Golden State Warriors point guard is the son of former NBA player Dell Curry, who used to play for Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavaliers, Charlotte Hornets, Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors.
