Reddit user Yuloforce has started the controversy on the eye color of the fictional superhero and he said that the production team of the upcoming film modified The Thing's retinas, as per Cinema Blend.
From the blue-eyed The Thing in the predecessors of "Fantastic Four," Trank's The Thing now has brown eyes. This alteration in the eye color of the Fantastic Four" member gained reaction from the movie fans.
According to "Fantastic Four" fans, Ben Grimm usually refers to himself as "the ever-lovin', blue-eyed Thing." This statement will not be possible with Trank's version of Fantastic Four. Will Jamie Bell's The Thing also change this statement?
The Thing is blue-eyed in Trank's "Fantastic Four" international trailer, which is in contrast to the eye color noticed by Yuloforce in the recent film poster.
According to Comic Book, the alteration of The Thing's eye color could be an error of the production team while generating the photos, which will not suggest a brown-eyed The Thing in the upcoming film.
