Marvel and Sony have revealed four other actors that screen tested for the iconic role of Spider-Man. Aside from "Ender's Game" star Asa Butterfield and "The Impossible" actor Tom Holland, the other four actors include Judah Lewis, Matthew Lintz, Charlie Plumer, and Charlie Rowe.

A whole day screen-testing process was done last Saturday in Atlanta, according to The Hollywood ReporterLewis is considered as a new comer and he is known for Jon Amiel's drama "Deliverance Creek." He is also set to appear in Ericson Core's crime-action film "Point Break" and in Jean Marc-Vallee's fall drama film "Demolition" with "Southpaw" actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

Lintz took part in several projects such as Damon Santostefano's "A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song," John Gulager's horror "Piranha 3DD," and Michael Cuesta's crime drama "Kill the Messenger." Also, Lintz is set to appear in the television series "Video Synchronicity" and the Adam Sandler film "Pixels" this summer.

Plummer is known for his role in David Chase's drama "Not Fade Away," Crobin's comedy-drama "Alan Smithee," and Felix Thompson's adventure film "King Jack." He will be seen again in the television series, "Boardwalk Empire."

Rowe has appeared in several television series like "Red Band Society," "The Secrets," and "Neverland." He is known for his roles in Chris Weitz's "The Golden Compass," Richard Curtis' "Pirate Radio," and Mark Romanek's "Never Let Me Go."

Previous reports saying that Asa Butterfield has already been offered the titular role were false. However, the actor could still grab the role, as per Indiewire

The final six contenders rose within the last two weeks from more than 1,500 boys across the globe. Marvel has to make a decision as soon as possible, as the iconic web-slinger is set to debut in "Captain America: Civil War" prior to his solo film.

Marvel President Kevin Feige, Former Sony Head and Spider-Man Producer Amy Pascal, and filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo were present for the tests. Fans have to wait for their announcement as of now.

"Captain America: Civil War" is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2016 while the new "Spider-Man" film will be in theaters on July 28, 2017.
