The multiple-endings game "Until Dawn" is confirmed to be released on Aug. 25 exclusively on PS4. The "Until Dawn" trailer is released as well, which offers a glimpse of the much-anticipated game.
This game is a re-make of the old school teen film genre in which a group of teenagers get together to go on a cabin trip in the woods. Serial killers find a way to hunt these kids down and kill them. Gamers are prompted to make choices at each step of this game, to service and stay alive in the games, according to The iDigital Times.
In the recently released trailer of the game, it is shown that Peter Stormare makes his first appearance in the game. He is the same actor who is associated with Oscar nominated movie "Fargo" and also the super hero TV series "Arrow," according to The PlayStation Blog.
Pete Samuels, the executive producer of "Until Dawn" seems to be very impressed with Stormare's acting skills. Samuels also thinks that his inclusion gives the game an edge, which was required very badly.
The cast also includes Brett Dalton from "Agents of Shield," Hayden Panettiere from "Heroes," Rami Malek from "The Pacific" and also Meaghan Martin who voiced "Namine" in the "Kingdom Hearts."
"Until Dawn" will be running on a new game engine which will allow the players to select plot twists from the various options. In addition, gamers will be able to make their choice with a simple tilt of the Dual Shock 4 controllers. Much to the delight of the players, the game also features multiple endings.
