NBA star Nick Young took the opportunity on his 30th birthday party celebration to propose to his girlfriend Iggy Azalea. Kobe Bryant's Los Angeles Lakers teammatenicknamed Swaggy P gave the shocked Aussie rapper a giant Jason Of Beverly Hills engagement ring valued at $500,000.
Hip-hop insider Karen Civil uploaded a video on Twitter in which the rapper can be seen proposing to his rapper girlfriend. In the video, Young asks, "Would you marry me?"
The rapper responds yes amid the loud cheer from party guest that included only close friends and family. She soon took to Instagram to express her excitement and to show off the stunning piece of jewelry.
The ring is quite an exquisite piece of bling that has a 8.15 carat fancy, intense, yellow cushion cut center stone with 2.28 carats of white diamonds set onto 18 carat white gold, Daily Mail reported.
Jason of Beverly Hills CEO Jason Arasheben claimed that the ring was customized and the basketball player was actively involved in designing the ring so as to come up with something that suits the leggy rapper's personal style.
Although Azalea and Young are dating from year and a half, it was lately rumored that Young will pop the big question soon. The player recently told People that marriage is on the cards and he may be proposing to Azalea, whom he is dating since 2013.
The proposal came in time as Azalea is facing backlash from fans for her decision to cancel her entire "The Great Escape" tour that was set to begin in September.
