Google’s Nexus 5 2015 release is being anticipated by tech fans, who have been predicting its pricing and release date. In addition, they speculate whether LG alone is making it or if another company is manufacturing a different phone this year.
According to Android Pit, LG has already confirmed that Google's Nexus is "under consideration" while another phone maker Huawei is rumored to be discussing with Google about a new phone. The Chinese brand known for good value phones recently launched the Huawei P8 and P8 max phablets, which tech fans consider quality products.
Because of this, tech enthusiasts guess that two phones will be released this year along with other speculations. Nexus 5 is already a big possibility with LG as the manufacturer. If there is a second phone, the other Nexus phone could be a phablet, which might be manufactured by Huawei, PC Advisor suggested. If there is another phone, it may be Huawei-made.
If Huawei is indeed making another phone, the pricing is likely to be around $530. Otherwise, tech enthusiasts believe it will stay below $760, which is Nexus 6's pricing, since Google is trying to compete against brand giants like Apple. It is also possible that there will be just one Nexus this year and either Huawei or LG will make it.
The release date will likely be in October as per tradition. Fans believe it will be scheduled at the same time as the release of Android M's final version. The Nexus 5 may be on sale a month after the official release.
