Moto X (3rd Gen.) also known as Moto X (2015) might be codenamed Calisto. Also, Motorola's new phone is expected to come with Snapdragon 810.
According to GSM Arena, Moto X (3rd Gen.) is likely codenamed Calisto. The website shared a screenshot of Zauba's import listing and it shared information for a model called Motorola Calisto.
Apart from the price of the phone, no other details are shared in the screenshot. However, the samples being imported to India are priced at Rs. 29775 or $610. The website speculated that since this is not a midrange smartphone, so it is likely that this is Moto X (2015).
Earlier, GSM Arena also shared two screenshots of Moto X (3rd Gen.) - model name - XT1542. The new Motorola model is said to have a 5.2" Quad HD display and it will work with 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset and 4GB RAM.
The native resolution of Moto X (2015) is said to be 1440 x 2560 px. According to the second screenshot, the phone will have Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. In the camera department, Moto X (3rd Gen.) will have a 16-megapixel rear camera and a five-megapixel camera. The company will have a 3280 mAh battery packed inside the upcoming smartphone.
Back in March, Motorola President Rick Osterloh tweeted about the release of Moto X (3rd Gen.). "@rosterloh Can we expect the next generation Moto X to come out in the same time-frame of the past two years?" tweeted and asked Osterloh. He replied the company tries to stay on cycle for all the Motorola products.
