During the Monday Nintendo Direct, director Masahiro Sakurai announced that new Mii Fighters will be released for the Super Smash Bros. for both Wii U and 3DS version. Nintendo has unveiled the new characters as Lucas from "Mother 3," Roy from "Fire Emblem" and Ryu from "Street Fighter."
Nintendo also announced that it will release new costume sets for its existing Mii Fighters. The upcoming downloadable content will feature new costumes for Akira and Jacky from "Virtua Fighter," Heihachi from "Tekken," Inkling Girl and Boy from "Splatoon," ZERO from "Mega Man X" and finally MegaMan.EXE from "Mega Man Battle Network."
The new Mii Fighters together with the costume pack will cost $29.16 for both Wii U and 3DS, according to Euro Gamer. The same bundle will cost $21.96 if purchased for a single platform
For those who wants to purchase each content individually, the Ryu character with Suzaku stage included will cost $5.99 for single platform and $6.99 for both the Wii U and 3DS.
The Roy and Lucas character will cost $3.99 each for single platform and $4.99 each if purchased for Wii U and 3DS.
A new Dreamland Stage which is based on the N64 original game will cost $1.99 for a single platform and $299 for Wii U and 3DS.
According to Tech Times, Nintendo also released several Amiibo Figures including, Mii Swordfighter, Mii Brawler, Mii Gunner, R.O.B, Falco, Mewtwo, Lucas, Rye, Roy, Duck Hind and Mr. Game & Watch.
Additionally, Nintendo also added the Miiverse stage which players can download completely for free. Nintendo also promised that it will release a Tourney mode for the game this coming August.
