"The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder has reportedly unfollowed his ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev on Twitter. It was said that the actor was jealous of her rumored boyfriend, Austin Stowell.
Somerhalder surprised several fans when he decided to unfollow Dobrev on Twitter. They both claimed that there was no bad blood between the two of them, adding that they have stayed friends after the break up.
In an interview with E! News, the former "The Vampire Diaries" star shared that she wished nothing but happiness for Somerhalder and his wife Nina Reed. She added that she still cared for him but only in a platonic way.
Some fans were quick to speculate that it was Somerhalder who was still not over Dobrev. They held that although he was supposed to be happily married with Reed, he still felt hurt when he found out that Dobrev and Stowell have started dating. It was said that the actor could be having second thoughts about his relationship with Reed and wanted to get back together with his former girlfriend.
Although Dobrev and Stowell have yet to confirm the status of their relationship, the rumored couple has been spotted getting cozy several times. Us Weekly reported that she brought the "Whiplash" actor to the screening of the "Final Girls." An insider shared that Stowell called Dobrev "babe" and put a protective arm around her waist. It was also said that the actress introduced him to all of her friends. The source added that Dobrev never let go of her rumored boyfriend's hand the entire time movie screening.
