Legendary wrestler Brett 'The Hitman' Hart has some doubts on the likelihood of Daniel Bryan wrestling again in the squared circle as he believed the recurring neck issues the former WWE World Heavyweight champion is currently dealing with might be a lot worse than everybody thought it to be.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated Extra Mustard, the Hitman didn't mince words in telling what he thinks is the current condition of the WWE superstar, who once again relinquished another title (Intercontinental championship) after complaining pain in his neck.
It marked the second time the 'bearded wrestler' had to surrender his championship, having previously vacated the unified World heavyweight championship and WWE championship several weeks following his monumental win at Wrestlemania XXX.
Hart compared Bryan's ordeal to what happened to him after taking a kick on the back of his head from Bill Goldberg. He stressed the injury prematurely ended his wrestling career and cost him millions of dollars.
"Daniel Bryan is finished," Hart told Sports Illustrated. "He'll never wrestle again. I don't think he knows it yet. I feel terrible about Daniel Bryan. For all intents and purposes, he had the exact same thing happen to him that happened to me after Bill Goldberg kicked me in the head [ending Hart's career]," according to Fox Sports.
"One day, you learn it's over. Doctors tell you that you can't wrestle and you'll never wrestle again. I lost millions of dollars because of that. I pray that it's not the same for Daniel Bryan."
Meanwhile, rumors are flying around regarding the possibility of Dolph Ziggler leaving the WWE stable. Ziggler, a fan favorite among WWE fans, is poised to leave WWE if his contractual issues aren't settled as soon as possible, according to WWE creative writer Court Bauer via MLW Radio.
