When it comes to Kendall Malone (Alison Steadman), Fawcett explained what the character's DNA as the original means for the health of Cosima Niehaus (Tatiana Maslany.) He said it is a positive thing and is exactly what they need to figure out the solution for the Leda clones.
In addition, Fawcett said Evelyne Brochy has just had an amazing season. The series creator said the actress who plays Delphine Cormier had "this great arc" through "Orphan Black" season 3 where she goes pretty dark and she does some bad things.
In another interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "Orphan Black" co-creator Graeme Manson explained the scene with Delphine getting shot. He said they "worked with Evelyne to craft the role of Delphine stemming from that promise she made to Cosima and to tell a story about true love, but impossible love."
