"The Fosters" star Annika Marks, who plays the role of Monte, recently opened up about what it is like third wheeling with Stef and Lena.
Fans of the hit ABC Family series have become concerned about the fact that Lena cheated on her wife with Monte. In the upcoming episode 3 of "The Fosters," Lena could finally come clean about her infidelity.
In a recent interview with IB Times, Marks revealed that she was not aware she would be causing trouble to two of the strongest couples in the series. At one point, the actress just saw how the story started to unfold and said that she was happy to explore the new plot.
Talking about Stef and Lena's fans, Marks said that she was actually surprised there were some people who supported her character's affair with Lena. According to her, Monte is such a likeable person that fans are also having a hard time hating her just like that.
Meanwhile, Marks also talked about Monte's identity crisis. During the premiere episode of "The Fosters" season 3, Monte said that she was only attracted to men. However, Marks said that there is going to be a twist in relation to her back story. The actress added that a lot of the episodes this season will focus on identity and Monte will play a major part in those.
The new episode of "The Fosters" season 3 entitled "Déjà vu" will air this coming Monday and it will also feature problems in relation to Connor and Jude and Callie and A.J, Buddy TV reported.
