"Penny Dreadful" Season 2 is only two episodes away from its finale. The Showtime horror drama is set to air its explosive penultimate segment, Episode 9 titled "And Hell itself My Only Foe." Fans must brace themselves for Vanessa and Evelyn will finally come face to face for the highly anticipated showdown. Also, a secret will be uncovered. In Episode 8, Evelyn cast a spell over Sir Malcolm after he refuses to accept Evelyn's offer. The visions and nightmares are only going to make things worse for Sir Malcolm.
According to Spoiler TV's description for "Penny Dreadful" Season 2 Episode 9 "And Hell itself My Only Foe," Vanessa and Ethan will hear about Sir Malcolm's predicament. While in London, the couple learns that Sir Malcolm's life is in danger and he needs help.
Vanessa will decide to rescue Sir Malcolm from Evelyn. She will go solo to battle it out with the powerful witch and help Sir Malcolm escape her wrath. Ethan gathers Frankenstein, Sembene and Lyle and follows Vanessa to Evelyn's mansion. Will they be able to defeat the evil? Will Sir Malcolm survive Evelyn's rage?
Meanwhile, the show will see the revelation of a highly anticipated secret. Lily will reveal the truth about herself to Dorian in the penultimate episode of "Penny Dreadful" Season 2.
