Moto G 2015 is expected to be released next month and it has a number of new features compared to Moto G 2014.
The upcoming Moto G 2015 is rumored to feature a 4.97 inch display which will support HD resolution and a screen display of 720 X 1280 pixels, according to Geek Snack. Whereas the current flagship Moto G features a 5 inch display and supports a pixel density of 294 ppi.
The Moto G 2015 is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 410 processor and 1 GB of RAM. On the other hand, Moto G 2014 comes with a Snapdragon 400 SoC processor and a RAM of 1 GB as well. Both the models feature 8 GB of internal storage, with no information available on Moto G 3rd generation's micro SD slot yet.
In addition, many rumors also suggest that the biggest improvement in the upcoming device will be on the camera front. It is expected to have a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front snapper. The current Moto G contains an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front snapper.
The much-anticipated Moto G will come loaded with Android 5.1.1 on release while the older Moto G was equipped with Android Kitkat 4.4 upon its release. It is still awaiting the Android Lollipop 5.1 upgrade, according to Pocket Lint.
Moto G 2015 will support LTE connectivity as well. The exterior design is ergonomic, as revealed in the recent leaked photos of Moto G 2015. It will be encased in a metal frame for sturdiness. Design-wise Moto G 2014 also boasted of appealing looks and its successor is only expected to take the bar higher.
