"Magic Mike XXL" star Joe Manganiello has opened up about his bromance with his male co-stars, including Matt Bomer, Channing Tatum, Adam Rodriguez and Kevin Nash. The 38-year-old actor also talked about his relationship with his fiancee Sofia Vergara and their marriage plans.
"I've really made lifelong friendships with all of the guys," Manganiello revealed to Haute Living in his latest interview. The actor is friends with Bomer since he was 18-years-old and told the publication that Bomer was the first person he called when he got the offer to do the film. Bomer is like a "brother" to Manganiello.
The actor is also close to other actors - Channing Tatum, Adam Rodriguez and Kevin Nash and told the magazine that they all "hung out" after the shooting of the first movie finished. Hence convincing everyone to do a sequel was easy. The actor now considers all the actors as his "brothers as well" and said he had one of the most wonderful times of his acting career of twenty years while doing this movie.
Manganiello also recalled of the time when he use to get free late at night but still went to gym to maintain his body. Same applies to other actors in the movie too. "One of the great things that I respect so much about the guys is how much work they put in at the gym-nobody slacks," Manganiello told the publication.
He also talked about his marriage plans with Vergara. The couple has decided on a date but he did not reveal it to the magazine. Vergara was not very keen to date him initially but the actor pursued her and proposed her in Hawaii. The couple is looking forward to start a family soon, writes Entertainment Tonight.
