Sony recently announced six games that will be offered free for PlayStation Plus subscribers for the month of July. Four games were released for the PlayStation 4, three each were released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Here is the list:

Rocket League

This title is a physics-based soccer game that use cars instead of human. The game was developed and published by Psyonix. The game will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC platform. According to IGN, "Twisted Metal" character Sweet Tooth can be played in this game.

Styx: Master of Shadows
This stealth video game was developed by Cyanide Studios and was released in October 2014. While Sony is offering this game for free, it is also available for purchase for the Windows PC and Xbox One platform.

MouseCraft
This is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita platform. It is a puzzle game where users guide mice through a series of intricate puzzle in order to find the cheese.

Entwined
This game was released to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita platform. Developed by PixelOpus, this game was officially released in June 2014. In this game, players are tasked to guide two different souls at the same time using twin-stick controls, making sure that the two are entwined.

Rain
Released in Asia as "Lost in the Rain," this game follows the story of a little boy that turned invisible after seeing the silhouette of a little girl. This game is a PlayStation 3 exclusive and was developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Studio along with Acquire.

Geometry War 3: Dimensions Evolved
This multidirectional shooter was developed by Lucid Games and published by Sierra Entertainment. It was first released for PC, Linux, Mac, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on Nov. 15, 2014. It was released on Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Nov. 26, 2014. Its iOS version was released in May and the Android version was released on June 24.

The free games will be available for download on July 7, according to the official PlayStation blog. Additionally, a recent announcement from Sony confirmed that the free games will be simultaneously released to PlayStation Plus subscribers in North America and Europe.
