A lot of spoilers for the upcoming second season of "The Flash" have already been revealed. However, it is only now that fans are learning an exciting detail about Jesse L. Martin's character Joe.
According to TV Line, Joe may potentially find a new love interest in the upcoming sophomore season of "The Flash." In season 1, the dedicated employee and loving father was focused on only those two things so his personal life was never given any emphasis.
Also according to the publication, Joe will get to know a woman named Olivia and the two will immediately like each other. However, it is unclear whether or not her daughter Iris will approve of the relationship.
As of late, it is still unclear how Olivia will fit into the storyline. There are some fan speculations that Olivia will be just like the other characters who also have superpowers.
Meanwhile, Olivia is not the only character that will be introduced in season 2. In a previous interview, executive producer Geoff Johns confirmed that several new characters will be part of "The Flash" season 2 and each one will have a huge contribution to the storyline.
It has also been confirmed that Iris' mother and their family's backstory will be explored in the sophomore season, Design N Trend reported.
With this, fans cannot wait to see what will happen to their favorite character Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) and all of the other characters part of the show.
"The Flash" season 2 will premiere on the CW this coming October.
