The iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus is rumored to enter mass production this month. Even though both the models are currently under the wraps, speculations are rife that they will be available in new rose gold variant and improved rear and front cameras.
Rose Gold iPhone 6S And iPhone 6S Plus
The new iPhones will not feature any significant cosmetic changes to their aluminum chassis as compared to the predecessor models. However, just as the Apple Watch comes in a premium color of rose gold, the next generations are also speculated to come in new rose gold color option, a Chinese source Sogi reported.
12 MP Camera With 4K Video Shooting
The iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 6, and the iPhone 6S Plus all feature 8 MP camera. It means that for since 2011, Apple has been providing 8 MP cameras to its users with improvements in the successive models.
However, the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are rumored to arrive with an upgraded 12 MP rear shooter with slow motion capabilities at 240 fps. It will also support 4K video shooting. The recent flagships from different brands feature higher megapixels front-facing camera. The iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus are also speculated to house a 5 MP selfie shooter.
Mass Production Starts In July
The iPhone 6S is heavily rumored to release with its iPhone 6S Plus sibling in September this year. The mass production of both the iPhones are expected to begin as early as July, BloomBerg reported.
The news iPhones will be featuring pressure-sensitive touchscreen display. Driving by the Force Touch technology from the displays on the next generation iPhones in 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch variants will be able to differentiate harder and lighter touches.
