Images of ASUS ZenFone Go (ZenFone Go ZC500TG) appeared online, indicating a decent look for the upcoming entry level smartphone from the Taiwanese tech manufacturer.
Although there was no official announcement yet, rumors said that Asus plans to launch a low-end Zenfone Go smartphone at the end of the month. In addition, the new mobile device will compete against the entry-level smartphones of Lenovo, Xiaomi and others, The Times of India reported.
It appears that ASUS ZenFone Go will be in several bright and happy looking pastel colors, giving the users a wide variety of colors to choose from. Leaked image indicated that this entry-level smartphone will have an 8 megapixels primary camera and a 2 megapixels secondary camera. Its 5-inch screen display has 720 x 1280p resolution, and works with MT6582 SoC that comes with a quad-core application processor and the Mali-400 MP2 GPU.
For the storage capacity, it has a 2GB of RAM and an 8GB of internal storage, but there's no indication of expandable storage support. The entry-level handset supports 3G only, unlike the complete ZenFone 2 smartphone series that supports 4G LTE connectivity according to Phone Arena.
However, there is no additional information regarding the how much will it cost, and the exact date, except that it will be launched before the end of July.
In other news, Asus also released the new ZenFone Selfie, ZenWatch 2 and the new ZenPad tablets. ZenFone Selfie possessed both 13MP rear and front cameras with an improvement tools like low light mode and Selfie Panorama mode.
