Kit Harington was recently spotted at Wimbledon this week sporting Jon Snow's signature styled long hair. The recent appearance of the British actor has fueled the rumor that his believed-to-be-dead character is likely to return in the next season of the hit show "Game Of Thrones."
Fans of the show were left shocked when the much beloved Harington's character was shown betrayed and stabbed by his Night's Watch brothers at Castle Black during last month's season finale, much to the dismay of the fans of the show. The actor was last shown lying in the snow in a pool of blood, indicating that his run in the show is now over.
However, the long luscious locks of the actor surely indicate that he is not yet over with the show and is set to make an appearance again, since he had famously revealed to The Independent back in December 2014 that he is under a contractual obligation to not to cut his hair as long as he is in the show.
However, the 28-year-old actor is known to be not a fan of his long hair and prefers to keep them trimmed, if given a choice.
"And maybe I can cut my f***ing hair," quipped the actor once, when he was asked about his plans after the show, Rolling Stone reported. As a matter of fact, while filming "Testament of Youth," the actor was forced to wear a short-haired wig over his locks to keep them covered.
Although the show's director David Nutter has insisted vehemently that the Snow's death is not a trick and he will not return in the upcoming season, Harington's fellow actress, Emilia Clarke, has recently hinted that the actor has a "50/50" chance to make a come back on the show.
"There's some helpful people there who could bring him back to life," said the Emmy-nominated actress, further emphasising that it is merely her opinion and she has no idea what will actually happen in the show in the coming seasons.
The filming of season 6 of the hit HBO fantasy drama series will begin shortly.
