Moto X 2015 release is reported to happen soon and it will come in two smartphone variants.
According to Christian Today, the upcoming models of Moto X 2015 will come in 5.2 inch and 5.7 inch screen panels. Both panels will be AMOLED displays that will pack 1440 x 2560 pixel resolutions.
Apart from the screen, the two Moto handsets will reportedly pack the same specs and features: Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, 16-megapixel back camera and 5-megapixel front camera, 4 GB RAM, USB Type-C connector, and longer battery life.
One of the evident changes that will be seen on Moto X 2015 is its design. The back panel will be made either with carbon fiber or plastic material. Moreover, this can be customized because it will come with 17 different colored case designs, including four wooden grains, five leather covers, as well as 10 accent colors.
Meanwhile, Android Central reported that Motorola is once again inviting willing participants to take part in the soak test of Android 5.1 Lollipop OS in AT&T variant of Moto X 2013. Under the soak test, a number of users will be updated to the latest and help Motorola in combing the bugs and issues off the update before its public release.
To be invited to take place in a soak test, you need to be a member of the Motorola Feedback Network.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop OS update was rolled out to the first generation of Moto X in U.S., Canada and Brazil, but handsets under AT&T were not included. There is no word yet as to when the OEM manufacturer will release the Over-The-Air update on the handset.
