Rumors about the upcoming Google Nexus 5 2015 smartphone began surfacing in February and suggests that the device will be built by South Korean company LG. Succeeding rumors hinted the device's specifications and a speculation that Google is planning to release two Nexus smartphones in 2015.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, Google is working with LG to develop the successor of the Nexus 5. Additionally, Google is also working with Chinese manufacturer Huawei to create a bigger smartphone that is rumored to replace the Motorola Nexus 6.
The device from LG is codenamed Bullhead while the one from Huawei is codenamed Angler.
Several leaks suggested that the Huawei Nexus 6 2015 will have a bigger 5.7-inch display with a Quad-HD resolution of 2560 x 1440. It will be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor from Qualcomm with 3 or 4 GB of internal memory. Since Google is already working on the upcoming Android M operating system, it will not be a surprise if the device will be released as the flagship device of the new OS from Google.
The LG Bullhead, or Nexus 5 2015, will have a 5.2-inch display with battery capacity rumored to be around 2,700 mAh. According to Tech Times, LG will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset to power its upcoming device. This is the same six-core processor that powers the LG G4 smartphone.
The two upcoming Google Nexus devices are expected to run on the Android M operating system. If not, the devices will probably run on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system with future support for the Android M.
Google has kept its silence and has not released any details regarding its rumored devices. However, the last four Google Nexus devices were announced and launched either late October or in early November.
