The creators of "Fifty Shades Darker" still have not found an actor to play the role of Jack Hyde. With this, fans are speculating that Universal Pictures and E.L. James will not give the role to Henry Cavill.
According to Latin Post, the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star is currently the only actor who may most likely take on the role of Jack in the upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel.
The publication also noted that Cavill has already signed a contract with Universal Pictures, but the production company is just waiting for the best time to make their announcement.
However, Design N Trend noted that it is quite impossible for Cavill to be cast as Jack especially with all of his current movie engagements. Not only is the actor playing the role of Superman on "Dawn of Justice," he has also signed on to star in "The Justice League Part One." The film is slated for release in 2017, the same year "Fifty Shades Darker" will hit theaters.
Additionally, the publication noted that Cavill might not be as effective in portraying the role of an antagonist because he has always been portrayed as a superhero or as the good guy.
On the other hand, Cavill playing the role of Jack on "Fifty Shades Darker" may help encourage him to become a better actor because now he can play roles that are beyond his comfort zone.
"Fifty Shades Darker" will star Jamie Dornan as Christian and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele.
