Tom Brady to be enjoying his time off the NFL despite reports that a final decision on his Deglategate suspension may be released this week.
Gisele Bundchen, wife of the quarterback, posted a sweet photo of Brady enjoying the sunshine with his daughter in what looks to be a golf course. The model captioned the image with three hearts. The photo has since had more than 3,500 comments and close to 250,000 Likes.
Another photo posted by Bundchen on her Instagram account shows the family on a trek in the woods. The image were accompanied by the hashtags #happiness, #family and #love.
Brady's vacation comes just weeks before the New England Patriots open their training camp. More importantly though, the trip is just days away from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's decision on Brady's appeal for his suspension.
The commissioner previously announced that the Patriots QB will be suspended for four games, and without pay, after it was believed that he was aware that the footballs used by the team during their AFC Championship game against the Colts were deflated. The incident has since been dubbed the "Deflategate".
Last week, Goodell told reporter Julia Boorstin that a ruling for Brady's May 14 appeal may come "as soon as" this week.
"A ruling on #DeflateGate is coming soon- could be as soon as next week- says @nfl commissioner Roger Goodell," Boorstin tweeted.
It does seem like Brady is not backing down from this messy debacle, so it's clearly understandable why he's taking a breather before jumping back right into the Deflategate issue.
