The Undertaker may return in the ring sooner than fans think. Even as soon as Sunday's WWE Battleground 2015.
Rumors of The Undertaker's return to the ring have been making rounds online since being MIA in the WWE universe. According to a post by Falconarrow on Reddit, the dead man will be making his return to the ring at the pay-per-view event this weekend. So far, the user has a good track record of predicting WWE events, notes Between the Ropes.
Some sources note that a fight may be slated for a later date, possibly a fight on August's Summerslam 2015, but an appearance can happen as early as Sunday. PWInsider also confirmed that The Undertaker will be at Monday Night Raw in Kansas. The site also noted that for weeks now, the network has been dropping the wrestlers name whenever possible. Possibly building up the excitement for his return.
The last time fans saw the deadman at his top form was in Wrestlemania 31, when he defeated Bryan Wyatt. Since then, there was little seen or heard of the wrestler in the WWE. However, earlier this week a photo of The Undertaker pumping iron made its rounds online, proving that the wrestler is in tiptop condition to make his return in the WWE ring.
Between the Ropes suggests a face off between Sting and The Undertaker for WWE Summerslam 2015. However, PWInsider believes a rematch between Brock Lesnar would be good for the fans. In Wrestlemania 30, Lesnar broke "The Streak" by beating The Undertaker.
WWE Battleground 2015 will air on Sunday, 8/7 central on WWE Network.
