According to a report by Bleacher Report, Denver Nuggets would think about Ty Lawson's fate as the player's latest DUI arrest has lowered his market value.
Mitch Lawrence of NBC New York tweeted that the Denver Nuggets are thinking about waiving Ty Lawson.
"Denver Nuggets considering waiving Ty Lawson after latest DUI arrest, per #NBA sources. Lawson has two years, $25.6 mil left on contract," Lawrence tweeted.
Lawson might be traded, but they can also consider the option of waiving. Lawson being on contract, Nuggets will have to pay him $25.6 million.
Now, it has to be seen what will be the Denver Nuggets next move regarding Lawson. Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated stated that recently Detroit, L.A. Lakers, and Houston are teams that have shown interest in Lawson.
Meanwhile, Matthew Dellavedova is looking for $4 million per year for his on-court services. Mannix mentioned that the Cleveland Cavaliers is looking for something cheap as they are looking at ways to save money.
Talking about K.J. McDaniels, Houston Rockets are looking at keeping McDaniels. However, it has to be seen if his services are efficiently used on the court.
"Rockets want to use $5.4 mil MLE on KJ McDaniels are in talks with him," Calvin Watkins tweeted. He added that one more team has given a strong offer to McDaniels.
