Several reports claimed that Moto X 2015 release will take place on July 28. This rumor is strengthened by a new image leaked by a Lenovo employee.
Latest leaked image of Moto X 2015 came from the Google+ account of Lenovo employee Roger Pretto. The photo he uploaded showed the back panel of the alleged Moto X, according to Android Authority.
While Motorola has not directly announced the official release date of its upcoming flagship smartphone, Motorola recently sent out invitations to events in NYC and London with the tagline "Your relationship status is about to change".
The events scheduled by the company kicks off on the 28th, which coincides with the previous rumors. The handset is purported to be released alongside two other smartphones. Rumors are pointing towards the successors of Moto G and Moto DROID.
According to Christian Today, the upcoming models of Moto X 2015 will come in 5.2 inch and 5.7 inch screen panels. Both panels will be AMOLED displays that will pack 1440 x 2560 pixel resolutions.
Apart from the screen, the two Moto handsets will reportedly pack the same specs and features: Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, 16-megapixel back camera and 5-megapixel front camera, 4 GB RAM, USB Type-C connector, and longer battery life.
One of the evident changes that will be seen on Moto X 2015 is its design. The back panel will be made either with carbon fiber or plastic material. Moreover, this can be customized because it will come with 17 different colored case designs, including four wooden grains, five leather covers, as well as 10 accent colors.
