Two devices will come out of Google's Nexus 2015 release date plans - one from LG called Nexus Bullhead and another from Huawei that is known as Nexus Angler. And a new concept provided a glimpse of the latter, packing with its gorgeous finish all the specs that the device is rumored to unpack.
Nexus Angler concept author Jonas Kvale, per Concept Phones, visualized the device as a high-end flagship that is wrapped in metal with a super-slim profile. Premium is written all over the Kvale-imagined Huawei Nexus (images of which can be viewed here), which looks all set to give the likes of Apple iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (or their 2015 sequels for that matter) a good fight.
As Google's phablet contender, the Jonas Nexus Angler has a screen that stretched diagonally at 5.7-inch, which is in line with the rumored specs being connected to the device. The display resolution that the Angler will fire up is Quad HD or 2560 x 1440 screen pixels, the designer still staying true on what have been speculated about this bigger Nexus.
Humming furiously inside the Angler metal chassis is a Snapdragon 820 that in recent report is believed to be the same beast that scored 85,000 points in an AnTuTu benchmark testing. The numbers indicate that this Nexus is both a monster and beauty and likely to overpower the Android device that currently dominates the field - that would the Samsung Galaxy S6.
The Nexus concept also dreamed of upscale camera system, bannered by a 16MP rear shooter that is laced with autofocus and dual-LED flash. If users would end up snapping away with the Huawei Nexus, the internal storage should be able keep up with the created files as the memory starts at 32GB with a 64GB option.
The device operating hours should be more than decent as the battery pack included boasts of 3100mAh rating and re-charging should be swift enough courtesy of the USB Type-C port. The latter not only means that the Nexus Angler is able to speedily refill on power juice but also to facilitate quick data transfer.
Android M, without question, will unbox with the Huawei-made Nexus phone and as Google had indicated the new operating system is coded for native support of biometrics. So Jonas dutifully included a fingerprint reader on his Angler rendering, which many believe will be located on rear portion of the device.
The one thing that the Nexus Angler concept has left out is how much is the asking price considering the over-the-top build and specifications? Android fans would want to believe that the Google Nexus 2015 on release date will gun for the sweet spot in terms of pricing so any of the basic LG and Huawei models should cost no more than $500 once unboxed.
