With her "Furious 8" role still unconfirmed, Eva Mendes is reportedly voicing a "Grand Theft Auto 6" character along with her boyfriend Ryan Gosling.
The current plot of "Furious 8" hinges on the role of agent Monica Fuentes, a source told We Got This Covered. The character was played by Mendes in "2 Fast 2 Furious." She also had a cameo appearance in "Fast Five."
Mendes has yet to confirm whether or not she will reprise her role as Monica Fuentes in "Furious 8," which will star Vin Diesel as Dominic Torreto, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Luke Hobbs, Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, and Lucas Black as Sean Boswell.
Meanwhile, Mendes and Gosling are reportedly lending their voices for the lead characters of the upcoming "GTA 6," Master Herald has learned. Rockstar Games is said to be adapting Gosling's role in the 2011 crime drama "Drive" for the "GTA 6" protagonist.
Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and written by Hossein Amini based on James Sallis' book, "Drive" starred Gosling as the character simply referred to as Driver with his real name unknown. The film adaptation also starred "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston and "Suffragette" star Carey Hulligan, among others.
