Speculations have emerged that Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado is being transferred to a second team in six months after he was signed by Premiere League champions Chelsea FC from Italian Club ACF Fiorentina last February.
Chelsea paid a transfer fee of £26.1 million to Fiorentina to acquire Cuadrado, but the Colombia international has not lived up to expectations and only appeared in four games since his move to Stamford Bridge.
The deal also sent Egypt international Mohamed Salah to the Viola, which deprived the English giants of one less winger.
Serie A champions Juventus FC is one of the teams interested in the 27-year-old's services. The Blues are reportedly open to release Cuadrado but only if the club would recover the money they spent for him half a year ago, as per The Guardian.
José Mourinho's side had already turned down loan offers and bargain deals presented by other concerned parties as Juve appears to be ready to pay Chelsea's asking price.
Mirror reported that the 5-foot-9 Necocli native had not yet discussed his options with Mourinho, but the Pensioners manager is said to be ready to let him go at the right circumstances. Both have last met during the Premiere League final and Cuadrado had just finished representing his home country at the Copa America in Chile last month.
Cuadrado is still part of Chelsea's contingent this summer at the International Champions Cup. He is set to play on Wednesday against the New York Red Bulls at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey and on Saturday versus Paris Saint-Germain at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
