The Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL are the Microsoft flagship smartphones that are going to be released in November 2015.
Since 2014, the Lumia 940 and the Lumia 940 XL models have been rumored to be the flagship smartphones from Microsoft to launch with Windows 10 Mobile onboard. However, it has been found that the Lumia 940/940 XL handsets will be released as the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL, Chinese website IT Home reported.
The Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL flagships are expected to release in October. The handsets will come preloaded with Windows 10 Mobile.
The Microsoft Lumia 950 is codenamed as Talkman and it will come with a 5.2 inches display supporting 2K resolution. It will be powered by Snapdragon 808 chipset and 3 GB of RAM.
With 32 GB inbuilt storage, the device will come with support for microSD expansion. The main camera of the device will be 20 MP and the front-facing camera will be of 5 MP. It will be powered by 3,000 mAh removable battery.
Codenamed s Cityman, the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL is It will be featuring a 5.7 inches display supporting 2K resolution. The Snapdragon 810 chipset along with 3 GB of RAM will power up the handset.
The Lumia 950 XL will carry 32 GB native storage and it will also feature microSD card slot. It will house a 20 MP rear camera along with triple LED flash and a selfie shooter of 5 MP. It will be equipped with a huge removable battery of 3,300 mAh.
Both the handsets will arrive with full metal chassis. The Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL will be sporting the recent omnidirectional USB-Type C connector. And it will also be supporting continuum through accessory cable, Phone Arena reported.
