Dr. Valack (Steven Brand), the man with the third eye in Eichen House, gave an important detail in "Teen Wolf" Season 5, episode 5 titled "A Novel Approach." A promo video released for "Teen Wolf" Season 5, episode 6 titled "Required Reading" tease that Scott (Tyler Posey) and his pack will listen to what Dr. Valack said about his "The Dread Doctors" book.
Dr. Valack kept telling Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia (Holland Roden) in the previous episode that they should read the book that he wrote about the current villains in Beacon Hills called the Dread Doctors. Dr. Valack further revealed that he wrote "The Dread Doctors" book in an effort to find if there is someone out there like him who can see the Dread Doctors.
In a Carter Matt spoiler report, the synopsis for "Teen Wolf" Season 5, episode 6 teased that Scott, Kira (Arden Cho), Stiles, Lydia and the other members of the pack will read the book as instructed by its author. However, the Beacon Hills gang will start to "experience strange effects" as a consequence.
Dr. Valack also mentioned in the previous episode that the Dread Doctors are really powerful and they have the capability to make people forget they ever saw them. In the promo video for "Teen Wolf" Season 5, episode 6, the group of friends will have troubles triggering a memory that they cannot remember.
Meanwhile, Lydia sounds certain that the Dread Doctors did something to her. Lydia is determined to find out what happened to her.
The other scenes in the promo video shared on YouTube teased that the Dread Doctors will have a new victim and Theo (Cody Christian) explaining that he came to Beacon Hills with the hopes of finding a pack. However, Scott still has no idea that Theo is bad news because works with the Dread Doctors.
In episode 4, it was Theo who manipulated Donovan (Ashton Moio) into attacking Stiles in order to bring Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby), Stiles' dad, a devastating emotional pain. It was also Theo who told the Dread Doctors in episode 5 about Scott's plan to go to Eichen House to talk to Dr. Valack about the book that Malia (Shelley Hennig) found in the room of a Kanima named Tracy Stewart (Kelsey Chow).
"Teen Wolf" Season 5 will return on Monday night, July 27, with episode 6 titled "Required Reading." The brand new episode is scheduled to air at 10/9c on MTV.
