The new and final visual poster for “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” is out already in limited stores in Japan.
“Metal Gear” creator Hideo Kojima said that it will be displayed on the wall of Japanese stores from August, revealing that Quiet and Snake are covered and smeared with blood. Kojima gave a title to the poster, which is ‘Stained In Blood, The Aftermath Of Revenge'. It is also considered as a follow-up to its 2014 prologue cover of Ground Zeroes.
Kojima is known as a person who tests the limit of boundaries of each game, trying to outdo each series of games. The new bloody poster for the game shows how Kojima can push what games can do or show to its players and fans, Game Revolution reported.
“The Phantom of Pain” allows the player to take the role of Punished "Venom" Snake or known as Big Boss, fighting in a massive collection of open-world environments. “Ground Zeroes” acts as a prologue to “The Phantom Pain”, allowing players to creep from several points in the game world and avoid enemy guards while they remain undetected.
An update from the Japanese PlayStation Store, it has been disclosed that the downloadable size of “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” for PlayStation 4 is 25.1GB, and PlayStation 3 owners will only have 11.7GB. Some “Metal Gear Solid V” fans were shocked that the game for PS4 is only 25.1GB, guessing that the Japanese game developer and publisher Konami did a lot of optimization job, according to the report of PlayStation Lifestyle.
The game will be launched in September 1 on PS4, PS 3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, while the PC version of the game will ship two weeks after.
